this time next week would be the first evening of the class...and so you would hopefully read or listened to the essay, and thought about the Green Man, Peter Pan, Pinocchio or some fairy tale image or story in your own experience. (there will be multiple choice quizzes too for those who like them, a template so any group or participant can compose to their own liking.) Tolkien is obviousy concerned with the origins, essence and value of fairy stories in his own life and in the culture.
